From what I understand Deep Freeze is a Ring 0 filter driver, I think more than one. Deep Freeze Standard/Workstation costs $48 as of March, 2021. Attempts to manually remove Deep Freeze are not recommended. Then you can use the Deep Freeze installation file to uninstall Deep Freeze. They will send you two NUL drivers to replace in c:\windows\system32\drivers which will allow you to boot your computer with Deep Freeze in Thawed mode. But you must be able to boot from a Rescue USB or Windows Installation CD/USB.
